We primarily focus on "working craft vessels" such as tugs, barges, fishing, rail ferry, cargo, auto ferry, general work, lighters, etc.

Our craftsman kits are freelance designs that incorporate features from some prototype vessels. No model shipbuilding skills are required for our kits. Kits include all parts necessary for assembly as shown in the photos unless noted. Detailed drawings, instruction sheets and finishing instructions are included in vessel kits. All product is sold unpainted unless noted. Our products are designed for adults and for children with adult supervision. Our products are all manufactured here in the U.S.A.

Our prime objective is to provide the modeler with quality and detailed components that give them the option of building from a kit, scratch building, or kit bashing. Also to provide the model boat lover who does not have time to build our kit, a kit completely built up and painted.

Many of our parts are hand molded from high quality resin that is tough, durable, machinable and paintable.

Many of our high quality metal castings and brass components have been specifically designed for our kits.

We promote "on line" or "phone" communications with our customers to discuss the kit construction and finishing. We welcome photos of finished and work in progress models for display in our "Modeler’s Gallery".
