Our recommendation is merely a guide. As an example you might find that a part we recommend you use in an “O” scale setting works fine in an “HO” or “N”  setting. You might find that a part we recommend you use in an “N” setting works fine in an “HO” or “O” setting etc.  Use, ultimately depends on your requirement.

For all other modelers and scales refer to the size of the part to determine if it is a fit.
