HO-1123 282’ Modern Container Ship “Manchester Mercurio / Manchester Rapido”. These were built in Gijon Spain in 1971 and chartered to Manchester Liners. They went off charter in the later 1970s and worked the European trade until 1999 when the Mercurio sank off the coast of Africa and the Rapido was scrapped in 2002.
