ABOUT THE KIT
A structure like Gilleys would be located on a waterfront location. It would be at home on any large lake, Atlantic or Pacific oceans, Gulf Coast, or any harbor, bay, or river that had small boat traffic and commerce. Boats would be hauled up to the building or inside the building directly from the water by the use of the two drum winch located in the winch room. The odd sized mix of windows shows the realism of the time when the building extensions were added and the windows were “what they could get at the time”. It all fits together to create a small boat repair and construction environment much needed on any waterfront.
