Description
The buoy tender is a vessel that just tended offshore buoys, carried passengers & freight from the mainland to distant islands or worked a hard day and night around a harbor with a crew who might not be concerned about just how pristine their vessel looks. The modeler has a great chance to weather and configure the vessel as having done some serious work or in pristine condition just after being launched. Our Work Boat has worked hard since approx. 1930 to present. This kit is designed to give the modeler the best advantage in building and finishing a terrific model. All the original patterns were made in our shop with reference to the details of several prototypes and much research in books, and photographs. No navigable waterway could exist without this formidable buoy tender!
