This is a fabulous kit of a classic building and dock that represents any one of the hundreds of such structures along action packed oceans and large lakes. It is a point where fishing boats pick up their bait & equipment plus drop off their catch of the day. It is also a point where much fellowship & conversation is had between fisherman and land based support persons. It is a place where the buying public make their fish purchases. The structure is subject to much physical abuse as tons of fish, lobster, and shellfish are dumped onto its decks and boats bump up against its pier posts. Tides are continually pushing and pulling against its pier post. The weather plays a role in the abuse as well. When assembling and finishing this project consider the abuse it receives.
